CEESD, with its partners, Arizona State University (ASU), has won a $100,000 grant in the Power Africa Off-Grid Challenge.
Together with its partner, CEESD will implement an innovative and scalable Solar Lease project at Faaso Battor, one of the off-grid community in the Kwahu Afram Plains North District of the Eastern Region of Ghana. The project will be the first of its kind in Ghana.
By providing technology and programmatic strategies that can be semi-customized to this community, CEESD and its partners will deliver a comprehensive approach to off-grid power needs, with less equipment, training, and financing.
